Harry (Harjinder) Singh is an Indian-American technology entrepreneur, cybersecurity executive, and businessman who serves as founder and chief executive officer of SecureX.AI, an AI-native cybersecurity company focused on autonomous decision security, enterprise AI protection, and sovereign digital infrastructure. Based in Silicon Valley, Harry is also known as co-founder and former president of ShieldX Networks, a cloud security company, founded in late 2015, where he raised $50M+ VC funding and ShieldX was acquired by Fortinet, Inc. (NASDAQ: FTNT) in 2021.

Life and Education

Born in the village of Manjhpur in Punjab, India, Harry was raised in a disciplined middle-class agricultural family. He completed his high school and part of his college studies in Punjab before immigrating to the United States as a permanent resident at the age of 20 in pursuit of higher education and entrepreneurial opportunities. His brother & parents entered the United States as permanent residents in 1981 & 1989.

Harry began his career in technology through IBM’s work-study program in San Jose, California, where he worked as an intern while building his foundation in enterprise computing and software systems. At age 23, he left IBM to pursue entrepreneurship full-time.

He later earned an MBA from Columbia Business School and a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in National Security and Cybersecurity from Columbia SIPA, focusing on cybersecurity strategy, emerging technologies, AI governance, and public-private infrastructure resilience.

Entrepreneurship and Early Career

Following his departure from IBM, Harry founded SVS Enterprise Software, an enterprise software consulting and IT services company serving Silicon Valley technology customers. Through SVS’s IBM and SAP Services business, he gained experience in enterprise infrastructure, software systems, and large-scale technology deployments.

Harry later co-founded ShieldX Networks in late 2015, a cybersecurity startup focused on cloud and data center security. As president of the company, he helped lead fundraising efforts totaling more than $50 million from venture investors and positioned ShieldX as an innovator in cloud-native micro segmentation and east-west traffic protection.

In 2021, ShieldX Networks was acquired by Fortinet, Inc. as part of the cybersecurity company’s expansion into cloud workload and enterprise infrastructure security.
